School

This school is located in Manireddy Layout, over in the Mahadevapura area of Bangalore. It’s not a massive campus, but we have enough space for the kids to run around and for the classrooms we need. You can hear the noise from the students as soon as you get close to the gate. We’ve got desks, blackboards, and a lot of books scattered around. The teachers come in early to get their lessons ready, and the kids start showing up around eight. It can get a bit chaotic when the bell rings, but that is just how schools are. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the children are actually learning something. The building is a bit older, and we’ve had to repaint the walls a few times. We have a small area for sports and a place where everyone gathers in the morning. Being in the 560048 zip code means we get a lot of kids from the local neighborhood. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want the kids to do their work and pass their exams. Some days are harder than others, especially when it rains and the layout gets a bit muddy. We just keep going, day by day, making sure the bells ring on time and the gates are locked at night.
