Our place is at 88 (P), Sahasra Shree, in the industrial area. It’s a pretty standard spot for a company like ours that deals with electrical components. The building isn't anything you’d see in a magazine, but it’s got plenty of space for our inventory and the work we do. We spend our days dealing with things like power distribution and energy management. It involves a lot of technical checks and making sure everything meets the right standards. We have a small crew of people who really know their way around a fuse box and a circuit board. The office part of the building is just a few desks pushed together with some old computers. We aren't really into the corporate vibe. We’re more about getting the orders right and making sure the equipment is ready to go out on time. The industrial area can be quite loud with the neighbors running their machines, but we don't mind it much. It feels like a place where things actually get made. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much the fuel for the afternoon. It’s a simple setup, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We’re just here to do our jobs in the electrical trade and go home at the end of the day. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a big shipment.
