Mahadevapura is where you will find us working away at Scancafe Digital Solutions. This part of Bangalore has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings and the traffic getting worse every single year. Our office is a practical space where we deal with all the digital stuff that comes our way. It is not one of those huge tech parks with a gym and a cafeteria. We are more of a regular setup where people come in, sit at their monitors, and get the job done. The air conditioning works most of the time but when it breaks we just open the windows and deal with the dust. We have a lot of computers and scanners humming all day long which makes the room stay a bit warm. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know exactly which chair squeaks and which drawer sticks. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and making sure the digital files look right for whoever needs them. Lunch usually involves going out to one of the small stalls nearby for some quick food before heading back to the screens. It is honest work and we do not spend much time worrying about fancy office decorations. We just want to make sure the digital solutions we are working on actually function correctly. It is a busy life in a busy part of town but we managed to make it work for us.
