Saurashtra Chambers

H Siddaiah Road is always packed with people and vehicles. We are at number 5, and the building is called Saurashtra Chambers. It has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the way the hallways look. It is a sturdy place though. There is a lot of history on this particular street in the city. We spend our days inside dealing with all the various things that come through the door. It is never very quiet because of the constant traffic and honking outside, but you eventually get used to the noise after a few weeks. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of the city and old paper. We have a few chairs for people who stop by, but they are usually covered in files or yesterday’s newspapers. Our team is small, and we have worked together for many years now. We know all the local shops and where to get a decent lunch nearby. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we would like to. It keeps us moving, I suppose. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but once you get inside our office space, it is bright enough to get the work done. We do not have a big corporate sign or anything, just our name on the door. It is a practical place for practical people. We see the same faces every day, which is nice.
