The business is run by Prashantha K.C., who is the son of Chowde Gowda. We are based in Madabour, which is a small post office area in N.R. Pura Taluk. This is deep in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. It is a very green place with lots of coffee estates and hills around us. Our setup here is quite modest. We focus on things related to Saudi, whether that is work opportunities or other connections people need over there. Being in a rural part of Karnataka means we know everyone around here. People from nearby villages come to talk to Prashantha about their plans. We do not have a website or anything like that, just this physical location where people can sit down and talk. The address is basically the family home and office combined. It is a long way from the big cities like Bangalore, but we manage everything from here. We use the local post and phone calls to stay in touch with folks. Life moves a bit slower in this part of the state, but we stay busy with the requests we get. Sometimes we have to travel to the district headquarters to get things sorted. It’s a practical way of working that suits the local community here in Madabour. We have been doing this for some time now and plan to keep it going as long as folks need us. We just take it one day at a time.
