You can find us at number 126 on 5th Main in Mahalakshmi Layout. We’re specifically on 8th Cross, near Tent Road in the Ganesh Block. It’s a familiar part of Bangalore for us. We’ve been operating Satyam Computer Services Ltd from here for quite a bit. The shop is pretty basic. We have some shelves for parts and a long counter where we do the testing. It’s not a showroom. We don't have anything on display for sale really; we just focus on the service side of things. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone hunched over a keyboard or looking through a magnifying glass at a circuit board. We like the pace of Ganesh Block. It has a local feel despite being in such a large city. We deal with everything from slow software to hardware that’s physically broken. Sometimes we have to tell people their old machine isn't worth fixing, which isn't fun, but we try to be honest about it. We don't use any scripts when we talk to customers. We just tell them what’s wrong and how long it might take to fix. Most of the people who come to us live or work within walking distance. It’s nice having that connection to the street. We’re usually here from morning until late evening, just keeping up with the pile of work on the desk. It can be a lot but we manage.
