Satyam Computer Services Limited is based in Chikka Banaswadi, over in Bangalore. This part of the city has grown so much lately, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We are a computer service firm, which means we take on all the technical headaches that come with modern offices. It’s a lot of coding, fixing bugs, and making sure databases don't crash. Bangalore is full of tech companies, but we like to think of ourselves as a bit more down-to-earth. We don't have beanbags in the office or a gym. We just have good chairs and decent computers. Most of the staff live nearby, so we don't have to deal with the worst of the traffic every morning. We get our work done, have our lunch breaks together, and try to keep things moving. It’s not always exciting, but it’s important work. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. If a computer system is broken or needs updating, we are the ones who sit down and click through the problems until they go away. It’s a lot of patience and trial and error. We’ve been at this for a long time now. People in Chikka Banaswadi know where to find us if they need technical help. It’s just a normal office with normal people working hard. We don't have any big plans to change how we do things.
