Sash Inn

Sash Inn is located over in the Begur area of Bangalore. We are at 1449-1, which is the new number 2668. The building is called Guru Krupa and we are right behind the Canara Bank. If you find the bank, you’ve basically found us. Begur is a bit away from the main city center, but it’s grown a lot with all the new apartments and shops popping up. I’ve been around here since before it got so crowded. Running the inn is a daily task that keeps me on my feet. I’m usually checking people in or making sure the water heaters are working properly. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, mostly writing things down in a big book at the desk. We don't have a website with all kinds of bells and whistles. It’s just a straightforward place to stay. The neighborhood is pretty friendly, and I know most of the shopkeepers on our street. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice in the evening. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to keep the place running so we can stay in business. The rooms are basic but they have what you need. It’s a lot of sweeping and dusting to keep up with the Bangalore grime, but we manage. It’s just a quiet, simple inn tucked away behind the main road, and that’s how we like it. Nothing too fancy, just a real place for real people.
