Sardar Patel Farm

Our office is in the Sri Huchhanna Tower, which is number 4 on 1st Main, 7A Cross. We’re tucked away in Maruthi Layout, Dasarahalli, near the H.A.F Post in Hebbal. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re new to the area, but once you’re here, it’s quiet. We deal with farm-related things, mostly land and produce. We spend a lot of time out in the fields rather than just sitting in the office. The Hebbal location is where we do all the paperwork and meet with folks. We’ve got some agricultural background that goes back generations. It’s not a high-tech operation, just basic farming and managing the land. We have to deal with the seasons and the water supply, which isn't always reliable. Sometimes the crops are good, sometimes they aren't. That’s just farming. We don't use any slick sales talk. We just show people what we have and let the land speak for itself. The office in the tower is small but it’s enough for what we need. We usually have some samples of whatever is in season sitting on the table. It’s a practical way of living and working. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a while and seen it change a lot. We just keep doing our thing regardless of how the city grows around us. It is a slow process but we enjoy being close to the earth and the plants.
