Saraswathi Stationary & Gift Store

Saraswathi Stationary & Gift Store is situated at number 65 on the Kamanahalli Main Road. We are very close to Sathya Hospital, which brings a lot of people past our door. It’s a very busy road, and sometimes the noise from the buses and horns is quite loud. We sell all sorts of stationery like notebooks, pens, and school supplies. We also have a section for gifts, which is popular with people visiting the hospital. They often come in looking for a small toy or a card to cheer someone up. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to be careful about where we put things. We have been running this place for a long time and it feels like a second home to us. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking the inventory or cleaning the shelves. We don't have a computer system; we just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. The floor is made of old tiles and we have a small fan that keeps the air moving. It’s a basic shop, but we have almost everything a student or a local resident might need. We see the same faces every week, which is the best part of being here. It’s just a normal, everyday business on a busy street.
