Santosh Dianostic Centre

If you walk down the 9th Cross in Nehrupuram, you’ll find us at 13/7. Santosh Dianostic Centre has been here in Bangalore for quite a while. It’s a busy little street in Karnataka, and we see people from all over the neighborhood coming by. Most mornings we start early because that’s when everyone wants to get their tests done before they go to work. The building isn't huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the equipment is ready. It’s a lot of writing names down in registers and handing out slips of paper. Sometimes the wait is a bit long when it gets crowded, but we try to move as fast as we can. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the area well. We talk about the local news while we wait for the machines to finish their cycles. It gets pretty loud outside with the bikes and the vendors, but inside we try to keep it organized. We’re just a regular part of the street life here. India is a busy place, and Nehrupuram is no different. We’ve got our routine down, from opening the shutters in the morning to locking up at night. It’s honest work, and we’re used to the flow of people through the day. We don't use fancy words for what we do, we just do it.
