Sanil Kumar Associates

Sanil and a couple of us have been working here in Indira Nagar for a good while now. Our office is right by the 3rd Cross on 10th Main, basically in the 2nd Stage area. If you know where the big water tank is, you have probably walked past us a dozen times without even noticing the small sign. It is a quiet enough spot most days, though the traffic on the main road can get a bit loud during the evening rush. We usually start around nine or so. One of the guys usually goes out to get tea from the stall around the corner because the kettle in the back room takes forever to boil. The space is filled with files and old desks that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. We spend most of the day looking at papers and answering calls. It is not anything fancy. There is a specific way you have to jiggle the front door lock to get it to open, which we always forget to tell people until they are already struggling with it. The light comes in through the side window in the afternoon, making it a bit warm, so we keep the old fan on high. Most of our neighbors are regular folks living their lives, so the building feels more like a home than a stiff business office. We just keep our heads down and get through the stack of work on our desks.
