Sales Coordinator Cum Secretary

Working as a Sales Coordinator Cum Secretary at No. 244, Marian Nivas, keeps me pretty busy. We are on the 1st floor on Oil Mill Road, specifically at the 4th Cross in Lingarajapuram. This part of St Thomas Town in Bangalore has a lot of character. Our office has big windows that look out onto the street, so I spend some time watching the bikes zip past while I’m on the phone. It’s not a corporate skyscraper. It’s a regular building with stairs that creak a little. My desk is usually covered in folders and sticky notes because there’s always a meeting to coordinate or a letter to type up. The 4th Cross is a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze for cars. We have a small pantry where we keep the biscuits and tea. It’s a simple setup. I handle the schedules and make sure the boss knows where he’s supposed to be. Sometimes the printer jams and I have to spend twenty minutes fixing it, which is just how it goes. I’ve been in this spot in Bangalore for a good while, so I know all the delivery guys and the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don't put on any acts here. We just get the admin work done and go home. There is always plenty of paperwork to handle before the day is out.
