Sakthivel Agro Corp.

Sakthivel Agro Corp. is located in Yeshwantpur Dharmpeth 165-166/2. This is a busy area for trade. Our place is more of a warehouse than a shop. There are trucks coming and going all the time. It gets very dusty with all the loading and unloading of agro products. I spend half my time on the phone and the other half checking the quality of the arrivals. We deal with seeds and pulses mostly. The office is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood. It is noisy because of the machinery nearby. I don't wear a suit or anything like that. Just regular clothes that I don't mind getting dirty. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of with the taxes and the transport logs. Sometimes the internet is slow and I can't send my reports. I just wait it out. My workers have been with me for a few years. They know the routine. We start early, around seven, when the market is just waking up. It is a lot of shouting and heavy lifting. By the afternoon it gets incredibly hot under the tin roof. We drink a lot of tea to stay going. It is not a glamorous job but it is important work. People need what we move through here. I close the big gate late in the evening and head home to get some rest before it all starts again tomorrow morning.
