Sak Technology

Sak Technology operates out of the ground floor at 126, Sampigehalli in Basavanagar. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for us to get in and out, which is good because we are always on the move. Basavanagar is a busy area, but our street is slightly tucked away from the heaviest traffic. The office is a simple room with a few workstations and a lot of spare parts kept in plastic bins. It’s a very practical space. We don't have a cleaning crew, so we just take turns sweeping up at the end of the week. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make our own tea and talk about the weekend. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. Whoever is available takes the call or helps the person at the door. It’s a very relaxed way to work, though we do get quite busy with technical projects. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance for a few minutes, but that’s just life in this neighborhood. We are just people who like technology and wanted to have a place of our own to work. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home to our families. It’s a basic, honest way to run a small business.
