We are over at 79/A in JP Nagar, right by the Bhuyangdev Cross Road. Sahyadri Software Solution has been around this part of Bangalore for a good number of years now. It is a very busy junction outside our door. There is always someone honking their horn or a bus stopping nearby. Inside the office, it is mostly just the sound of us typing and staring at our computer screens. We do software work, mostly for local clients who need things fixed or built from the ground up. It is not one of those big glass buildings with a fancy lobby and a fountain. It is more of a practical place to get work done. We have a small kitchen area where the old coffee machine usually breaks down on Monday mornings. We are just a group of regular people who happen to know how to write code. We do not have a big HR department or any fancy titles for ourselves. Everyone just chips in and helps out with whatever is needed. Sometimes we end up staying quite late when a piece of code is giving us a lot of trouble. JP Nagar is a nice area to be in, even if that cross road gets jammed with traffic every evening. We have gotten used to the constant background noise. We do not spend any money on big advertisements. Most people just find us because a friend told them we know what we are doing.
