Sahyadri Exports

Sahyadri Exports is based out of Prakash Nagar on Science City Road. Our number is 1077. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s a good location for the kind of work we do. We handle a lot of logistics and paperwork here. It might sound boring to some people, but there is a certain rhythm to the day that we like. We have boxes arriving and leaving all the time. Sometimes the warehouse part gets so full we can barely walk through the aisles without tripping over something. We’ve had to get pretty good at organizing things just to keep our sanity. The staff here is like a small family, mostly because we’ve been working together for so many years. Prakash Nagar is a busy part of town, and Science City Road always has some kind of construction or activity going on. We see a lot of trucks passing through every hour. We try to keep things simple and avoid all that corporate talk you hear from the bigger companies. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to get our exports out on time and without any big mistakes. It’s hard work, and our backs often ache by the time we lock up, but it’s satisfying to see the trucks head out. We don’t have a big fancy office, just some old desks and filing cabinets. It works for us.
