Our office is over in Domlur, specifically in Willingdon Colony on S V Road. The address is 126. It’s a relatively quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we appreciate. Being in human resources means we see a lot of different people coming through the door every day. Some are looking for jobs, others are looking for workers. We spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at resumes. The office is pretty basic, just some desks, chairs, and filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, papers tend to pile up. There’s a small garden area out front that someone tries to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group trying to help people find their way. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We usually eat lunch together at the big desk in the back. It’s a good chance to talk about things other than work for a bit. The building has a bit of a draft in the winter, but it stays cool in the summer. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys don’t even need to look at the address anymore. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day and we like the people we meet. We just take things one day at a time here.
