Safa Agro is based out of Mathikere, specifically at Champak Kunj on Ram Iyengar Road, near the Basavanaudi Post area, 25/2. It’s a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main markets. We deal with agricultural stuff, so there’s often a lot of talk about crops, seasons, and soil. The office isn't anything special. It’s got some old wooden desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers and suppliers from different regions. There’s usually a few samples of seeds or fertilizers sitting on the corner of the tables. We don’t go in for big marketing campaigns. We just keep track of what’s needed and try to get it moved to where it’s going. The building itself is an older one, so it stays fairly cool even when it’s hot outside. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the road, but we make it work. It’s a small team here. We know each other well and we’ve been doing this for a long time. There’s no corporate ladder to climb, just work to be done every day. We drink a lot of tea and handle the paperwork as it comes in. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the supply lines moving for the folks out in the fields.
