We’re situated at Dodda Mavalli Dr Mascarenhas Road 55. It’s an interesting part of town with a lot of history. Our office is in a building that’s seen better days, but it’s got character. We do software work here and spend most of our time looking at code. The desks are pushed up against the walls to leave space in the middle of the room. We have a few fans going because it can get quite warm in the afternoons. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes we watch the people going by. We aren't a big firm with a lot of levels. Usually, if there’s a problem, we just talk it out across the room. We have a lot of cables running along the ceiling. It looks a bit messy, but we know where everything goes. The kettle is always on for someone wanting tea. We don't really have any posters or anything on the walls, just a few clocks that show different times because we never bothered to set them right. It’s a laid-back atmosphere for the most part. We show up, do what needs to be done, and try to stay on top of the projects. The neighborhood is busy, but once you’re inside, it’s relatively quiet. We’ve been at number 55 for a while and it feels like home to us now. It’s just a normal software shop. We like the quiet mornings here.
