Saagar Barcode Solutions is at number 25 in Mallathahalli. It’s a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to the busy city center. Our shop is small and mostly filled with printers, label rolls, and scanning devices. I spend a lot of time sitting at a small desk testing out barcode stickers and making sure they print clear. Sometimes the printer jams and I have to spend an hour picking out bits of sticky paper with a pair of tweezers. It’s a bit frustrating but it's just part of the daily job. We aren't a big tech firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a local business helping other shops and warehouses with their labeling needs. Mallathahalli has changed a lot lately with new buildings, but our little corner at number 25 stays pretty much the same. I have a small table fan on my desk that barely works, but it’s better than nothing during the hot months. Most people find us through word of mouth from other business owners. They come in needing a few rolls of thermal labels or a quick repair on their handheld scanner. I usually have some tea in the late afternoon while I catch up on emails or sort through the mail. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to it yet. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want the barcodes to work. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
