S Viswanathan Chartered Accountants is based at 27/34 Jay Mahal Extension on Gulab Tower Road. We are up on the 2nd floor, right near the Jayamahal Extension area. The office has been here for quite some time. It is a typical second-floor space, meaning we have to go up a couple of flights of stairs every day. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well enough. Inside, the office is filled with the usual things you would expect—desks, computers, and a lot of stacks of paper. It isn't a very large place, but we manage to keep things moving. We usually start the day with a quick check of what needs to be done and then dive into the paperwork. The road outside can get a bit noisy with cars and buses, but we are used to it by now. We know the area well and often see the same people walking by on their way to the shops. It’s a modest setup without any fancy furniture or expensive decorations. We focus on getting through the daily tasks and keeping our records in order. Sometimes we stay a bit late when there is a lot to catch up on. There’s a small place nearby where we get our coffee in the afternoons. It’s just a regular, working-class office where we do our jobs the way we know how. We don't try to make it look like something it's not. We just keep at it.
