S V Tours & Travels

We set up S V Tours & Travels in the Sundar Industrial Compound over on Mysore Road. It’s right near the Vijaya Bank Complex, which makes it easier for people to spot us. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking schedules for the drivers. It’s not always easy keeping everything on time with the traffic around Krishnarajpuram, but we do what we can. We have a few cars and we try to keep them clean, though the dust on Mysore Road makes that a constant job. Our office is pretty simple, just some desks and a lot of maps pinned up. We mostly help people get from one place to another, whether it’s a quick trip to the airport or a longer drive out of the city. We don’t do much fancy advertising; people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. Sometimes the phone rings late at night with someone needing a last-minute ride, and we try to figure it out. It’s just a small team of us here. We know the routes around Bangalore pretty well by now. There’s always someone coming in to ask about rates or to book a vehicle for a wedding or a trip. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure the fuel tanks are full. We just focus on getting people where they need to go without a lot of fuss. It is a practical business and it keeps us busy.
