S S Travels

Being located in Majestic means things are always moving fast. Our office is on 5th Main Road in Gandhi Nagar, which is a convenient spot for anyone coming through the main bus station or the railway. We are at number 28. If you see the Dr. Rajkumar International Hotel, you are basically there since it's right nearby. S S Travels has been in this neighborhood for some time. It's a small place, mostly just desks and chairs and maps on the wall. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Most of our days are spent talking to drivers and making sure passengers have their seats confirmed. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes it feels like the whole city is passing by our window. We don't have a big marketing department, just a few of us who know how to manage the bookings. It’s honest work, even if it gets stressful when a bus is running late or someone loses their ticket. People stop in because they know we are here on the corner. We keep it simple and just focus on getting the schedules right for the day. It’s not flashy, but it works for us and the people who travel with us. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets on their bus okay. It is a simple life for us here in the city.
