If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic at the Marathahalli junction in Bengaluru, you’ve probably passed right by us. S & S It Services is on the first floor of the Mtk Reddy Complex, right at No. 1/2. We are directly opposite the Marathahalli bus stop. It’s a very busy spot, and the stairs up to our place are a bit narrow. We do all sorts of IT support and service work. People bring in laptops that won’t turn on or ask us to help with their office networks. It’s usually pretty hectic because of where we are located. There’s always someone coming in with a cracked screen or a virus problem. We don't have a lot of space, so there are piles of parts and cables everywhere. Sometimes it feels like we are living in a sea of electronics. We don't use any corporate jargon. If your computer is slow, we just tell you why and try to fix it without charging an arm and a leg. Bengaluru is a tech city, but we like to keep things down to earth for the average person who just needs their gear to work. We spend a lot of time looking at screens, but we always have time for a chat with the regulars. The bus stop outside is always crowded, which keeps the area lively. We’ve been here long enough that we don't mind the noise anymore. It is just part of the daily grind in this part of town.
