S. S. Enterprises

S. S. Enterprises is located at No. 108/1 on 4th Cross, Tank Road. We’re right across from the Anjaneya Temple in Jalahalli. Having the temple nearby makes it easy to give directions, and it’s a nice view from the front door. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time. The building is an older style, which we like. It keeps relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. Inside, it’s mostly storage and a small area where we handle our daily tasks. We have stacks of boxes and some ledgers that have been around forever. It’s not a high-tech office by any means. We use a lot of handwritten notes and keep things simple. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s just part of the day now. We have a small team of local folks who live nearby. We usually walk to work or take the bus. There isn't much room for parking big cars in the cross streets here. Most of our visitors just arrive on scooters. We don't do much promotion. Usually, if someone needs us, they just know where to come. We try to be helpful and get the job done without any unnecessary talk. It can be a bit messy with all the inventory arriving, but we manage to find what we need. We’ve known the families on this block for years. It's a quiet existence and that suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and work.
