You can find S S C Travels over in Vijayanagar, specifically at North Sector- 15, D 277. It's a residential sort of area, so it feels a bit more relaxed than being right in the middle of the city center. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time. Our office is basically just a room with a few desks and a lot of files. We don’t have any big signs or flashing lights outside. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are anyway. We spend most of our time staring at schedules and talking to drivers on the radio or phone. It’s a family-run feel, even if we aren’t all related by blood. We know the local streets like the back of our hands. If there’s a block in the North Sector, we usually hear about it before anyone else does. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like doing our work and going home at the end of the day. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the clock ticking on the wall. We don't use fancy jargon when we talk to people. We just tell you what time we can get a car to you and how much it will be. It’s straightforward. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go over the years, but we’re still at D 277. We keep the place tidy but it’s definitely a working office. It feels like home to us.
