We set up our shop at number 21 in Hesaraghatta, right between the 4th and 5th cross. It’s a basic engineering place. We don't have any shiny glass walls or air conditioning in the work area. It's mostly just lathes, welding sets, and a lot of metal scrap lying around the corners. We do various engineering services for folks who need parts repaired or something fabricated from scratch. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for years. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and cutting them once. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so there’s always someone dropping off a broken machine part or asking for a specialized bolt. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in ties. We wear overalls and get our hands greasy. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish a job. We don’t make big promises about being the fastest, we just try to do the job so it doesn’t have to be done again next week. Finding the 4th and 5th cross is easy enough if you know the Hesaraghatta main stretch. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit now. It’s just a small team of us making sure the local machinery keeps running as it should without too much fuss or unnecessary delay in the schedule.
