S Nayan Architects

Our office is located at 584/6 in the Kempaiah Block on the 4th Main of Palace Guttahalli Road. It’s a local neighborhood with a lot of character, and we like being based here. S Nayan Architects is a pretty small operation. It’s just a few of us working together on various building designs. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of high-tech gadgets. Most of our work happens on a few sturdy desks with good lighting. We spend our days drawing up plans, mostly for residential houses and small commercial spaces. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with clients, trying to figure out what they need versus what the space allows. Sometimes we have to tell people their ideas won't work, which isn't always fun, but it’s necessary. The road outside can get quite narrow and busy, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when delivery trucks come by with materials. We have a lot of samples scattered around—mostly bricks and different types of flooring. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We’ve been here for quite a while and have a good relationship with the local contractors. They often stop by for a chat or to check a measurement on a plan. We just try to keep things simple and focus on making sure the drawings are accurate and the clients are satisfied with the results at the end of the day.
