We’re situated in Ramamurthy Nagar, right along Kanakapura Road. You can find us pretty easily if you look for the Bharath Petrol Bunk, as we are directly opposite to it. It’s a very noisy spot because of all the traffic going up and down the main road. The smell of petrol is often in the air when the wind blows the right way. Our office is a simple one-room setup where we spend our days looking at maps and bus schedules. We have a couple of computers that are getting a bit slow, but they get the job done for booking tickets. People stop by all the time asking for directions or just checking on travel times. There is a small bench outside our door where people wait when we are busy with someone else inside. Kanakapura Road is always under some kind of construction, so it’s usually quite messy outside. We keep a plastic water dispenser in the corner for anyone who’s thirsty after walking in the sun. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few old calendars and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations because we’re mostly focused on the bookings. During the holidays, the place gets quite hectic and there isn't much room to move around. We just try to get through the day one traveler at a time, keeping it simple and honest. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in. The door sticks a bit in the rainy season when the wood swells up. We’ve just learned to pull it hard to get it open. It's just a regular local spot.
