S M K Technology

You can find us over at 41615 Lavelle Road, which is a pretty well-known part of town. Most people find us by looking for the Garden Restaurant because it’s a big landmark right nearby. S M K Technology is our small setup where we deal with all sorts of technical things. It’s not one of those huge glass buildings you see in the IT parks. We have a modest shop where we keep our tools and parts. The street outside is always full of cars and people going to the fancy cafes, but inside we are usually just focused on fixing things or setting up systems. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially if the power fluctuates, but we keep the fans going. We’ve been on Lavelle Road for a while, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just stay here and keep doing our thing. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up over the day. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. If someone has a problem with their gear, they bring it in, and we take a look. We talk to people plainly and tell them what can be fixed and what can’t. It’s a practical business. We enjoy the lunch breaks because there are so many good food spots around, but mostly we are just here at the bench working away. It's a good place to be.
