S L V Tours & Travels is over in Doddabidrakallu, located on Dr E Moses Road at number 113. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you’re coming from the center of the city, but we like the space we have. The road can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we’re always wiping our feet at the door. Our office is simple, just some sturdy tables and a bunch of clipboards hanging on the wall. We handle a lot of travel stuff, mostly for people who live around here or work in the nearby factories. There’s a small tea shop next door where we spend way too much money on snacks. The atmosphere inside is usually pretty quiet unless a group of drivers comes in at the same time to settle their accounts. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that; word of mouth seems to work okay for us. My desk is right by the door, so I get to see everyone who walks past. We’ve got a couple of fans that rattle a bit when they’re on high, but they keep the air moving. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to get people from one place to another without any major headaches. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the local roads better than any digital map could ever show.
