You’ll find us at 851 Hosa Road, which is right in the Electronics City area. It’s a fast-paced part of town, but we try to keep things a bit more traditional here. We deal with organic millets and different kinds of grains. Our space is usually filled with large sacks that have been brought in. There’s a certain earthy smell to the place that we really like. We spend a lot of time weighing out portions and bagging them up for people. We aren't a big supermarket; we’re just a local spot where you can get the grains we carry. We’ve been here for a while and have seen Hosa Road get much busier over the years. We talk to a lot of customers about how to cook the millets, as some people aren't too sure at first. It’s a simple business, really. We don't have any flashy displays or loud music. It's just us and the grains. We try to keep the shop clean, though there’s always a bit of dust from the sacks. We start our mornings early to get everything ready before the traffic picks up. It’s a steady kind of work that we enjoy. Most of our regulars are people who live right around the corner or work in the nearby offices. We’re usually open until the evening when the commuter traffic starts to thin out a bit. It is a quiet life among the bags of grain.
