S. L. V. Engineering

You can find S. L. V. Engineering over near the Vinayaka Tent in Garudacharpalya. We’re at number 3 on Whitefield Road. This area has changed so much with all the tech companies and big glass buildings coming in, but we’re still here doing traditional engineering work. It’s a bit of an old-school shop. We have lathes and milling machines that have been with us for years and still run perfectly fine. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and there’s always a project on the bench. We don’t have a fancy website or any social media. If people want to find us, they usually just look for the landmark near the old tent. We’re a small team, and we’ve known each other for a long time. There’s no HR department or formal meetings here. We just grab a tea, talk about what needs to be done, and get to work. It’s a practical way to live. We don't make big promises we can't keep. If a job is going to take a week, we tell the customer it’ll take a week. We like the grit of the work. It’s satisfying to see a raw piece of metal turn into something useful. We’ve stayed in this same spot while the rest of Whitefield turned into a hub for software, and we’re happy right where we are. It’s a dusty, busy corner, but it’s our home.
