S L Systems

S L Systems is based out of Peenya 1st stage, at number 704. Since we are in an industrial area, most of our days are surrounded by the sounds of machines and trucks passing by the front door. We deal with computer systems and hardware. It’s not just selling parts. We actually spend a lot of time troubleshooting why things aren't booting up correctly for people. The office is basically a workshop with cables everywhere and a few old monitors piled in the corner. We’ve been here for a while, and the landlord is a nice guy who doesn't mind when we stay late to finish a job. It gets really hot in the summer because of the sheet roof on the building next door, so we have a couple of noisy fans going all the time. We don't have a receptionist or any fancy greeting. If the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. A lot of our work comes from the other small factories around Peenya who need their office computers fixed quickly. We don't use any fancy jargon when talking to the customers. We just tell them what’s broken and how much it’ll cost to get it running. It's a straightforward way of doing things. Sometimes we get parts that are duds and have to send them back. But that’s just how the hardware business is these days.
