Our place is at Door No-7 on A.K. Main Road in K.B. Nagar, right off the busy Mysore Road. The traffic on the main road is almost never-ending, so there is a constant background noise of horns and engines. We have a large shutter at the front that we roll up every morning at nine. The interior is mostly dedicated to storage, with tall racks that reach almost to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to pull items down or putting new stock away. It’s a bit of a workout, but it keeps us moving. The air is often a bit dusty because of all the boxes and the proximity to the road. We have a small desk tucked into the corner where we handle the billing and keep our records. It’s a very honest, hardworking atmosphere. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. Everything we have is chosen for how long it will last and how well it does the job. Usually, we eat our lunch at the desk while checking the schedules for the afternoon. By the time evening comes and we pull the shutter down, we feel like we’ve put in a solid day of work. It’s just how we operate here in K.B. Nagar every day.
