Universal Products is located right on 6th Cross, 1st Main Road in Bovipalya. If you are looking for us, we are very close to the Ganapathy Temple in Mahalakshmipuram. In fact, you can hear the bells from the temple during the morning prayers while we are opening the shutters. The shop is at 17/1. It’s a busy little area with a lot of people walking by all the time. We sell a bit of everything, which is why the name is what it is. The shelves are usually packed quite tight, and sometimes things get a little disorganized when we have a big shipment come in. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. We know most of the people who live on this street. Some people stop in just to chat while they are on their way to the temple. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We spend a lot of time counting stock and writing down what we need to order for next week. It isn't a high-tech operation. We use old notebooks and simple calculators. If you need something specific, we usually have to dig around in the back for a minute. That is just how the shop works. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real community.
