S G Gears & Gear Box

Our workshop is at 103 in the Byraveshwara Industrial Estate. If you know where the Shushruthi Bank is, we are just a short walk from there. It is a busy little corner of the estate. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters going up all along the row. S G Gears & Gear Box is where we spend all our time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting oil on your hands. The estate is always crowded with delivery vans and workers moving back and forth. We have been here in this unit for quite some time now. The space inside is packed with machinery and stacks of parts waiting to be worked on. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. You get used to the constant hum of the machines after a while. We don’t really have a front desk or anything like that. People just walk in through the main door and find us among the gear sets. The bank nearby makes it easy to find us if you are new to the area. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is just a normal, hardworking spot in a big industrial patch. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s how it goes here every single day. We stay until the jobs are done and the estate starts to go quiet.
