S. F. Apparels

You can find S. F. Apparels on the first floor at No. 49/6 on 3rd Cross. We are right off R. C. Road in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. Bommanahalli is a crowded place and the traffic can be a nightmare during the morning and evening rush. Our workshop is on the first floor so you have to walk up a narrow set of stairs to get to us. We have several sewing stations set up along the windows to catch as much natural light as possible. It’s a busy environment with the constant sound of needles clicking all day long. We have a small room where we store all the fabric rolls and it’s always a bit of a mess in there because things get shifted around. We try to keep everything sorted by color but it never stays that way for long. There are just a few of us working here. We handle everything from cutting the patterns to packing the final pieces into plastic bags for shipping. It isn't a high-end studio. It’s just a practical workspace where we make clothes for people. We often have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. Sometimes we run out of thread and someone has to run down to the local shop to get more. It’s just how we operate every single day and we like the work.
