S D T C Exports Pvt Ltd is based over at 88-4/5 Singasandra, right near the Bawla Masjid on Delisle Road. It is a busy area with a lot of movement. We handle export stuff, which means there are always boxes and crates being moved around. The warehouse part is usually louder than the office part. We've been at this location for quite some time now. The building is older and has its quirks, like a door that squeaks every time someone enters. We don't have a team of hundreds, just a handful of us managing the paperwork and the shipments. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the labels are on right. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port and we have to spend the whole day on the phone trying to figure out what happened. It can be stressful, but we are used to it by now. We take our lunch breaks together when we can. The tea stall down the street is where we get our daily fix. We don't have a polished showroom or anything. It's just a working space where things get packed and sent out. Delisle Road is always crowded, so getting trucks in and out is a bit of a challenge. We just take it one day at a time and keep the business moving. It's hard work but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of the exports and the neighborhood.
