S C B Solar is located right at 59 BTM Layout, up on the 2nd floor. If you know BTM, you know it’s always buzzing with people and traffic, so getting to us can be a bit of a chore sometimes. Our office isn’t much more than a couple of rooms where we keep our paperwork and some sample solar panels leaning against the walls. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now, mostly focusing on helping people in the neighborhood get their solar water heaters or rooftop panels set up. We aren’t the kind of place that has a big, shiny showroom. Instead, we usually just sit down with a cup of tea and a notepad to figure out what a customer needs. A lot of our time is actually spent out of the office, climbing around on roofs to make sure everything is bolted down right. The stairs leading up to our floor are a bit narrow, so we don’t like carrying heavy stuff up there if we can help it. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who have learned the ins and outs of how solar stuff works over the years. We don’t have any fancy marketing talk to give you. We just show up, do the installation, and make sure it’s working before we leave. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the local food stalls nearby.
