S & A Farms

We are located on the 2nd Floor of 23/5 on the 1st Main in Seshadripuram. It is a bit of an old-fashioned building with a steep set of stairs that you have to be careful on when you are coming down. Even though the name is S & A Farms, we do not actually have any fields right here in the middle of the city. This is just where we handle all the coordination, the buying, and the selling. We have a few desks, a printer that jams more often than we would like, and a lot of folders full of farm records. Seshadripuram is a lively neighborhood, and we are close to the market, which is handy for us. You can hear the sounds of the street all day—the vendors calling out and the bikes zooming past. We have been here for several years now, and the office has a bit of a lived-in feel. There are stains on the desks from tea cups and the walls are covered in notes we have pinned up so we don't forget things. We do not really do formal meetings. If someone stops by, we just clear off a chair and have a chat. It is a very hands-on way of doing things. We stay busy with the seasonal cycles of the crops, even if we are sitting in a city office. It is just a small group of us working together.
