You will find Genial Technologies at 53 9th Main, 7th Cross in the HMT Layout of RT Nagar. This is a busy part of Bangalore, filled with houses and small shops. Our office is just a regular unit in a building along the main road. It is not a place with a big neon sign. We just have a small nameplate so people know where to turn. Inside, the space is filled with desks and a lot of cables. We don't have a fancy interior designer. We just put the desks where they would fit and started working. Most of our days are spent in front of screens, and we have a small table in the back for our lunch. The HMT Layout is a nice area because everything is within walking distance. If we need a pen or some paper, the shop is just two doors down. We don't have big meetings with presentations. We just talk about what needs to be done while we are working. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, though we do stay busy. Sometimes the traffic outside gets quite loud, especially in the evenings, but we just turn up the radio a bit. We are just a local team doing technical work in a neighborhood we like. There are no corporate layers here. If you have a question, you just ask whoever is closest. It is a simple, effective way to work.
