Royal Stiche

Royal Stiche is situated in Mathikere, specifically in the Jkmunnoli area. We are primarily a place where things get made and fixed. The sound of sewing machines is the main thing you hear when you walk in. We have a couple of large wooden tables where we lay out the fabric for cutting. There are threads of every color imaginable sitting in racks on the wall. It’s a bit of a messy environment, with fabric scraps on the floor and measuring tapes draped over chairs. That is just the nature of the work. We spend hours hunched over the machines or marking patterns with chalk. It’s not a fancy boutique with a lounge; it’s a working shop. Sometimes customers come in with a very specific idea, and we do our best to follow the sketches they bring. Other times, it’s just basic alterations like shortening a pair of pants. Mathikere is a busy neighborhood, so there is always someone popping in to ask when their order will be ready. We try to keep up with the deadlines, but sometimes the machines act up or we run out of a specific button. We don't have a big front office, just the workspace and a small counter for taking orders. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it at this Jkmunnoli spot for quite a while now. We keep the machines oiled and the needles sharp to make sure everything gets finished properly.
