Royal Orchid Hotel

You can find us at No 88, over on 1st Main and 10th Cross. It’s in the New Tippasandra area, specifically Jagdish Nagar. Bangalore has grown so much, but this little pocket still feels a bit like the old days. Royal Orchid is the name on the door, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know the turns, but once you find the 10th Cross, it’s easy enough. We don’t have a massive lobby with fountains or anything. The post office is close by which is handy for us. We get a lot of mail. The office itself is just a regular room with some desks we've had for a long time. They’re a bit scratched up but they work just fine for what we need. It’s a functional space where the real work happens behind the scenes of the hotel business. Most of us have been working together for years, so we’re more like a small family than just coworkers. We handle the day-to-day stuff that keeps the rooms filled and the guests happy elsewhere. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork. We’re not fancy people. We just like to get things finished so we can go home to our families. The area is full of little shops and people selling fruit on the corner, which gives it a nice vibe. It’s just a normal office in a normal neighborhood, doing what we do every day.
