We are based at 89 Nandini Layout, specifically in the Sujata Flats in Shahibaug. Being in the housing business means we spend a lot of time talking to people about where they want to live. It’s not just about buildings; it’s about all the paperwork and the permissions that go with it. Our office is a simple one in a residential area, which feels right given what we do. We have maps and site plans spread out over the desks most of the time. Nandini Layout is a nice, established part of town. We’ve been working out of here for a while, looking at different plots and trying to see what can be built. It’s a lot of back and forth with engineers and local authorities. Some days are just spent waiting for someone to sign a document. We don’t have a big sales team in suits. It’s usually just us explaining things to families who want a new home. We try to be clear about what’s possible and what isn't. It’s a slow process sometimes, building houses. You have to deal with the weather and the cost of materials changing every week. We just take it one project at a time. It’s satisfying when a building finally gets finished and people move in. Until then, it’s just a lot of hard work and planning. We stay pretty busy.
