We are over here in Bharja, not far from the hospital. It’s a quiet spot most days, though the heat in Rajasthan can get to you in the afternoons. My name is Vipin, and I run things here with a small group of people who’ve lived in this area for a long time. We don’t have a big glass building or a receptionist sitting at a front desk. It’s mostly just us at our desks, handling whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we make do. We know everyone around here by their first name. If you walked into our place at 113 Govt Hospital road, you’d probably see a few files stacked up and some tea cups waiting to be washed. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just about getting the work done so we can go home to our families at the end of the day. People sometimes ask why we stayed out here instead of moving to a bigger city, but Aburoad has a certain pace that suits us. It’s honest work. We don't have meetings about meetings. If something needs doing, one of us just picks it up and finishes it. That’s how we’ve always operated and it seems to work out fine for everyone involved in the end.
