Our shop is located at 1, Industrial Site, right on 17th F Cross in Indiranagar 2nd Stage. Being in Bangalore, we see a lot of changes, but our furnishing company stays pretty consistent. R.K. Furnishing Co., has been around this area for a long time. We spend most of our time surrounded by rolls of fabric, curtains, and different materials for houses. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the textiles, but that’s just part of the job. We aren't one of those big modern showrooms with bright lights. Our place is more about the work itself. We help people pick out what they need for their homes, whether it’s a new set of drapes or some upholstery. The street outside in Indiranagar is usually packed with cars and people going to the cafes, but we stay busy with our measurements and cuttings. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We talk to the tailors, check the quality of the cloth, and make sure things are ready when we said they would be. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run out of a certain color, but we always try to find a solution. We like the smell of new fabric and the sound of the sewing machines. It’s a good way to earn a living, and we’ve made a lot of friends in the 560038 neighborhood over the years.
