The office is on the 3rd floor of the BMTC Complex on KH Road. Being inside a bus station building means it is always noisy, but it makes the commute easier for everyone who doesn't want to drive in Bangalore traffic. We have a lot of different people coming in and out because of the partners we work with here. It is a bit of a maze to find us the first time, but once you know the stairs, it’s fine. The windows look out over the road, and you can see the buses pulling in all day long. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of wires. We try to keep things organized, but when several projects are going on at once, the tables get covered in maps and prints. The light in the afternoon is quite bright, so we usually have the blinds halfway down. There is a small pantry area where someone is usually making coffee. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars and a few plants that someone forgets to water occasionally. It feels like a working space, not a showroom. We spend our hours looking at screens and talking about schedules. It is a busy atmosphere, especially on Mondays when everyone is trying to catch up. We just do our bit and keep the wheels turning here in the middle of the city.
