My name is Rijhwani and you can find me over at Gulab Mansion, which is near Lakeside Hospital by Ulsoor Lake. It’s an old part of town with a lot of character. The building is close to the HDFC Bank in Maharashtra Nagar. Being near the lake is nice, though the Avenue Road traffic can be a real headache some days. I’ve been practicing here for quite a while. The office is tucked away in the mansion, so it feels a bit more private than a big clinic. It’s a simple space. I have my basic setup and that’s about it. I don’t go in for all the modern office trends. I like things the way they used to be, where you actually talk to people. A lot of folks from the 560002 area come in because they’ve known my family or the business for years. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are. It gets a bit noisy outside with the buses and the local market nearby, but inside it’s just work. I spend my hours seeing people and handling the paperwork. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is steady. We just try to be there when someone needs us. It is a modest place, just doing what we can. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the work is what matters.
